About This Opportunity

San Ramon Dental is developing an exclusive internship program through MedConnect. One student will be selected to work as a clinical assistant intern over four to six months, learning the full scope of dental practice — from patient intake and sterilization to assisting during procedures. This is not a standard observation. It is a commitment to learning dentistry from the inside. Details are being finalized, and we will open applications once the program is ready.

What You Will Observe

  • Patient intake and charting
  • Sterilization and infection control
  • Assisting during dental procedures
  • Lab work and appliance fabrication
  • Patient communication and education

Requirements

  • Must be 16 or older
  • Parental consent required
  • Background check required
  • Must commit to the full 4-6 month program
  • Proof of vaccination (Tdap, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B)
  • Signed HIPAA confidentiality agreement

  • • Closed-toe shoes

Dress Code

Scrubs provided after acceptance. Professional appearance required.
